One of the Goblin Town founders opportunistically launched an NFT collection based on the original Mickey Mouse and it quickly generated over 600 ETH of volume. Unlike some more questionable projects associating with cartoons, this one in theory, benefitted from the fact that the original cartoon is no longer protected by copyright.
